Ohmstede Ltd is looking for someone to fit and tack all shell and tube heat exchanger components and assemblies for fabrication by welders. The ability to read and understand fabrication drawings. Able to measure, layout, and prep all welded connections on the exchanger. This position will require a good understanding of metal fabrication practices, heat effects, metal shrinkage and growth based on heat input in the welding process. The use of oxy/acetylene torch, plasma cutter, arc gouging, grinders along with other tools and techniques required to fit metal items together is required. SMAW and GTAW processes will be utilized.

Should be familiar with low voltage systems, fire systems, and voice and data systems. Also estimates, coordinates, and schedules on site construction or maintenance projects. Quality control using guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations, and EMCOR standard practices.
