Job Summary

F&G Mechanical is seeking a motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. The successful candidate will manage daily activities including supervising warehouse personnel and delivery drivers, coordinating scheduling and delivery routes, managing shipping and receiving, ensuring organized storage, fulfilling orders, and utilizing/maintaining the warehouse management system. This role requires a professional capable of managing up to ten (10) employees while prioritizing safety and efficiency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain efficient receiving, shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations by establishing and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents through continuous monitoring of security procedures and protocols.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling data within the storage system.
  • Generate accurate status reports for orders, shipments, and inventory levels for executive review.
  • Manage operational requirements by effectively scheduling and assigning employees, and meticulously following up on work results.
  • Ensure timely maintenance and repair of company vehicles and tool equipment.
  • Oversee strategic sourcing, forecasting, and proper lead time for all material and equipment needs.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels by actively participating in the selection, orientation, and training of new employees.
  • Audit and enforce all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company Safety Program and OSHA standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Works with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of management experience in warehouse operations.
  • Prior supervisory experience managing a team of 10 or more employees.
  • Prior experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions.
  • Experience in the field or mechanical contracting business is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain management in an engineering and/or construction project environment.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, OSHA, and relevant safety practices.
  • Operating experience in procurement, safety management, fleet operations, and pre-task planning.
  • Familiarization with bar-coding and process controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with billing, tooling software, and purchase order systems.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to stay on their feet for most of an 8-hour shift, as tasks require. Overtime may require longer periods of standing.

Bonus Eligible

Annual Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000
