Job Summary

Miller Electric-The Project Associate reports directly to the project manager or senior project manager.  Responsibilities include safety, managing small projects, estimating, billing, collections, and soliciting new Security Systems Integration.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Understand Miller Electric’s service-based approach to the electrical project management process.

  • Begin building long term relationships with your clients and fellow employees by earning trust through diligent communication and high-quality work ethic.

  • Support the generation of estimates and proposals to support your team in winning new work, establishing procedures, and scheduling timelines.

  • Develop a strong electrical/material vocabulary and understanding of job site etiquette. 

  • Work with your team to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. 

  • Collaborate with your field leaders to confirm client expectations and coordination with your subcontractors and other trades. 

  • Work with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. 

Qualifications

  • Project associate experience preferred
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows environment. Effective use of the internet, email, and calendars for communications. 
  • The ability to use software for estimating itemized pricing
  • The ability to convey messages clearly, accurately, and effectively through verbal, and written communications.  
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
