• Design building electrical systems in accordance with established codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Perform electrical load calculations, lighting photometric studies, and code reviews.
• Specify electrical equipment and review vendor product submittals.
• Develop engineering and construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct field investigations and on-site inspections as required.
• Support project teams through design, construction, and project execution phases.
• Maintain technical knowledge through continuing education, professional organizations, industry publications, and training opportunities.
• Contribute to team success by supporting department initiatives and assisting with related engineering activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related accredited engineering program required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with SKM Power Tools software is a plus.
• Experience designing electrical systems for industrial, manufacturing, food processing, or contractor-led construction projects is preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Occasional travel may be required based on project needs and project execution requirements.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
