Job Summary

Environmental Specialties is seeking a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver & Material Handler that will be responsible for the receiving and shipping of all materials and inventory for our manufacturing team.  They will also stage materials for production and jobs and maintain perpetual inventory needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Pull a wide variety of materials for orders and check off document as items are pulled.
  • Accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to distribution point, staging area or shipping dock.
  • Return/place stock in storage area at proper bin or storage location and log appropriately.
  • Take and monitor inventory of stored items.
  • Operate forklift in and between production building, shipping/receiving dock and storage areas.
  • Move materials between areas following routing, delivery tickets or orders.
  • Keep designated work areas supplied with materials.
  • Match incoming packing slips with internal purchase orders and forward to accounting.
  • Receive truck deliveries and load and unload materials by forklift or hand as needed.
  • Other related duties could be assigned as needed.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
  • 1+ year of inbound and outbound shipping and receiving experience.
  • Possess a current forklift operator’s license.
  • Previous experience in maintaining perpetual inventory.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work.
  • Ability to lift frequently and spend most of workday walking and or standing.
