F & G Mechanical Corporation - Class B Truck Driver

We provide complete project planning, design, and construction services for data centers, corporate headquarters, warehouses, hospitals, cogeneration plants, retail malls, hotels, and commercial or residential, multi-residential, and high-rise facilities.

F&G Mechanical Corp. is seeking a dependable and motivated Truck Driver to join our team in Secaucus, New Jersey. The ideal candidate is 21 years of age or older, holds a valid CDL Class B driver’s license with manual transmission endorsements, and has boom truck/lift experience. This full-time position is responsible for safely delivering tools, equipment, and materials to construction sites. Warehouse experience is a plus.

• Safely operates delivery vehicle while driving to assigned locations;
• Delivers equipment, tools, materials, parts and supplies to construction job sites;
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks for deliveries;
• General warehouse duties, including tool and material inventory;
• Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established

• Warehouse Delivery or similar experience preferred;
• Must be 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED;
• Must have and maintain a valid CDL Class B driver’s license with manual transmission endorsements and a good driving record;
• Minimum 2+ years of verified experience operating a boom truck. Candidates without direct boom truck experience will not be considered.
• Operates a truck with a hydraulic crane (boom) to lift, move, and place heavy materials at job sites
• Requiring a CDL, boom operation skills, and knowledge of safety protocols to safely transport and maneuver loads like steel, pipe, or equipment, coordinating with ground crews and performing pre-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA.
• Experience Driving Lift Gate Trucks.
• Some early morning and weekends may be required for deliveries.
• Have an excellent attitude towards safety and firm adherence to safety protocols, Company operating policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety programs as established.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and continued compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated random drug and alcohol testing requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to field locations.
