The Handyman is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks to ensure facilities, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete work independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings, offices, and facilities.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, walls, ceilings, flooring, and fixtures.
• Conduct repairs, including faucets, toilets, light fixtures and bulbs.
• Complete carpentry work including repairs, installations, and modifications.
• Paint and perform touch-up work as needed.
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify maintenance needs or potential safety concerns.
• Assemble, install, and move furniture, equipment, and office fixtures.
• Maintain building grounds, walkways, and exterior areas.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and outstanding repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors when specialized services are required.
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable building regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, or handyman experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Compensation Range: $38 - $42 per hour
