About Us

We are a cleantech contractor that provides comprehensive energy efficiency services for energy service companies (ESCOs) and corporate clients. Our services are provided by six specialized units focused on weatherization, water efficiency engineering, lighting, airflow controls, HVAC, and infrastructure solutions.

Job Summary

The Operations and Logistics Generalist manages daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while supporting site safety documentation and scheduling for Weatherization and HVAC projects. This role balances hands-on warehouse organization with administrative oversight of field projects.

 

Full-time 32-40 hours a week. Monday-Friday. This role is required to be in-person.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the warehouse.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, organizing, and routine inventory counts.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
  • Project Scheduling & Support
  • Build and maintain detailed project timelines for Building Envelope Systems (BES) and HVAC projects.
  • Track project milestones and deliverable deadlines in coordination with field teams.

Safety & Compliance

  • Manage safety documentation for federal projects, including Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSP).
  • Ensure all safety forms are up to date, accurate, and submitted according to project guidelines.
  • Conduct daily warehouse safety walk-throughs and ensure proper housekeeping to mitigate slip, trip, and fall hazards.
  • Perform routine inspections of safety equipment, emergency supplies, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Enforce proper lifting techniques, safe ladder usage, and mandatory PPE compliance among team members.
  • Conduct routine inspects of warehouse safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and first-aid kits.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment when it is returned from work onsite/on a project.

Fleet

  • Assist with vehicle maintenance, drop off/pick up vehicles.
  • Tracking oil changes and other maintenance requests.
  • Support the Fleet Coordinator when requested. Locating vehicles and vehicle inventory.
  • Clean out and prepare trailers for job sites. (Equipment, required state and federal posters, first aid kits.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced capability in managing spreadsheets, inventory logs, and project tracking timelines.
  • Logistics Experience: Proven background in shipping/receiving, freight management, and warehouse oversight.
  • Safety & Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with federal safety forms and protocols (JSA, SSSP, AHJ/AHA).
  • Technical Familiarity: Prior exposure to Weatherization or HVAC project environments preferred.
  • Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage inventory accuracy and structured project schedules independently

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Experience: A high school diploma or GED is required. Prior experience in construction or a related field is a bonus but not necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Valid driver licenses required.  
  • OSHA 10, if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date

Physical Demands

  • Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Walking, continuously.
  • Climbing ladders while carrying weight
  • Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves and other PPE required.

Work Environment

Time will be split between warehouse and office buidling. Warehouse heated throughout the winter but exposed to warm seasonal temperatures during the summer (no central air conditioning).
