The Office Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day office operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment. This role oversees site administrative activities, coordinates support services, and serves as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and clients. The Office Manager helps ensure operational excellence through effective planning, organization, budget awareness, vendor coordination, and continuous support of service delivery objectives.
In this role, you will serve two primary functions:
You will be the central resource for our New York office, supporting multiple Siemens Mobility business groups and ensuring a professional, welcoming, and productive workplace experience. Responsibilities include managing reception and visitor services, coordinating office and meeting space operations, supporting workplace technology needs, overseeing office services and supplies, and maintaining a safe and efficient office environment. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential to successfully manage competing priorities and support a dynamic workplace.
You will provide administrative and operational support to the U.S. Real Estate organization, assisting with workflow coordination, project tracking, meeting and presentation preparation, and other strategic initiatives. This role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability to transform information into professional presentations, training materials, and business communications that support leadership and team objectives.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. Success in this position requires sound judgment, flexibility, strong attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships across a geographically dispersed organization.
Supports Site Managers and/or Team Leads while maintaining working relationships with the customer. Works closely with client(s) to ensure that the effects on operations are recognized, well planned and coordinated in a quality manner.
