Morley-Moss, Inc. in Sunnyvale, TX is looking to add a Project Executive - Electrical Construction to our growing team.
The Project Executive will play a pivotal role in the success of multiple projects. This position is responsible for leading high-performing teams and ensuring projects are delivered profitably, safely, and with exceptional quality. Success is measured by projects that finish without injury, meet financial goals, and create a positive experience for clients and owners. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Project Executive thrives on collaboration and is committed to driving operational excellence across all phases of the project.
• Reports to Director of Data Center Construction and/or VP of Construction
• Train, Mentor, and/or Manage multiple Project teams
• Deliver projects that are profitable, completed without injury, and meet or exceed quality standards while fostering positive client relationships
• Review and approve major project decisions, budgets, and schedules; ensure timely and accurate reporting to leadership.
• Review Plans, Specs, and GC Schedules with Project Team to Identify material and Labor savings, added cost not realized at bid, any potential schedule impacts, risk associated with non-typical spec or scope requirements, Pre-Fab opportunities
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and quality benchmarks on all job sites.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
• Construction estimate using material cost and labor savings ideas
• Comprehensive project schedule
• Establishing & maintaining the project budget
• Train and guide project teams on maintaining accurate, up-to-date reports, including financial, cost, personnel forecasting, QA/QC, safety, time tracking, and monthly billing, in compliance with Morley-Moss SOPs.
• Performs risk assessment and mitigation through multiple reviews of schedule, Job site conditions, Material lead times, Specs, Client requirements or request
• Attends and/or holds monthly project status meetings
• Identifies and attends key Client/Owner organized Project meetings
• Recognize and report to the Client/Owner any Project issues, constraints, or conditions not generated by Morley-Moss’s project team that affect or have the potential to affect the Project’s schedule, cost, or safety.
• Maintains healthy personal relationships with Owner and Clients
• Identify exceptional leadership
• Identify improvements that Increase safety, increase productivity, reduce cost, shorten schedules, and strengthen owner/Client relationships
• Establish Project leadership goals
• Builds a positive Project Team attitude
Electrical Engineering Degree OR Electrical Trade Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of Project Management experience in the Electrical Industry, with at least 5 years experience leading large complex multi-million dollar Electrical Projects in the public/private sector.(Required)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication and team skills.
Extensive experience in electrical estimating, cost code set up, cash flow schedules, buyouts, productivity tracking, cost forecasting, change management, conflict resolution, scheduling, VDC process and prefabrication solutions
15+ years in electrical construction
5+ years as a Senior Project manager
Has a Minimum of 10 years work experience as Project Manager
