SUMMARY
The Technical Training Specialist delivers in-person and virtual training on Building Automation systems, develops and updates training materials, and customizes content to meet diverse audience needs. This role ensures alignment with ESAC standards through collaboration with engineering and installation teams, supports system upgrades and programming tasks, and conducts quality assurance inspections. Responsibilities also include tracking employee progress, staying current with industry trends, and leading short technical presentations as part of a voluntary "Lunch & Learn" program.

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods while delivering training sessions or working at a computer. Occasional lifting of training materials or equipment (up to 25 lbs) may be necessary. The position may involve travel to customer sites or company locations for on-site training and inspections. Work is typically performed in an office, classroom, or virtual environment, with occasional exposure to active construction or mechanical spaces during field visits. The employee must be comfortable working around building automation hardware and systems and adhering to safety protocols in technical environments.
