Serve as the customer's primary day-to-day facilities point of accountability, combining hands-on HVAC and building maintenance expertise with leadership in vendor management, work order administration, stakeholder communication, and facility operations. Ensure timely resolution of facility issues, coordinate specialized service providers, support safety and compliance requirements, and maintain safe, reliable, and efficient building operations across both locations while delivering exceptional customer service
Perform HVAC preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, minor repairs, filter changes, belt adjustments, equipment inspections, and basic controls checks. |
Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS); respond to alarms, operational issues, and system performance concerns; and support reliable operation of building systems. |
Coordinate and respond to lighting, plumbing, doors, hardware, general building maintenance, and other facility service requirements across both locations. |
Manage Corrigo service requests by prioritizing, documenting, tracking, updating, and closing work orders while maintaining accurate maintenance records. |
Coordinate specialty vendors and subcontractors, schedule services, manage site access, review scopes of work, verify service quality, and address performance deficiencies. |
Support invoice review and processing, operational reporting, service metrics, and visibility into open work items and maintenance performance. |
Serve as the primary on-site communication liaison between EMCOR and customer stakeholders and provide regular updates on maintenance, vendors, facility issues, and projects. |
Promote and enforce safe work practices and maintain service documentation and compliance-related maintenance records in support of regulatory and site-specific requirements. |
Prioritize competing facility needs, communicate recommendations and next steps, and escalate significant issues to EMCOR Account Management when necessary. |
Support continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities and infrastructure. |
Education | Relevant trade school education, technical training, or equivalent experience. |
Experience | Minimum 7-10 years of experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC operations, or building engineering. Experience managing daily facilities operations in a multi-site environment and coordinating third-party vendors and service providers. |
Licenses / Certifications | EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred. HVAC certification or related mechanical certification preferred. Applicable licenses and a valid driver's license may be required. |
Industry Experience | Commercial, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life science facilities experience preferred. Experience in regulated environments and working knowledge of GMP-regulated facilities and compliance requirements preferred. |
Technical Qualifications & Skills | Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting, preventive maintenance programs, mechanical systems, BAS, and general building maintenance. Proficiency with CMMS and work order management systems, including maintenance documentation and operational reporting. |

Work in operating facilities and mechanical spaces where personal protective equipment may be required, including steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hardhat, eye protection, and hand protection. Follow OSHA requirements, including lockout/tagout and HAZCOM, along with all EMCOR and Catalent safety initiatives.
Hours of work are governed by business needs and contract schedules. The position requires the ability to respond appropriately to facility issues, support operations across both locations, and remain professional during urgent or stressful situations.
