The Shop Foreman will be responsible for all maintenance and utility staff. The Shop Foreman will assure that all contractual requirements are achieved.

Supervise the Sheet Metal fabrication department while working together with the Operations Superintendent on assigned projects from final plan design to completion to ensure timely project completion and accuracy.
Coordinate all fabrication projects including labor, materials and adhering to schedule.
Identify proper stock materials necessary for the job.
Fabricate from patterns, blueprints, and templates.
Knowledge of total job assignment and sequence of performance
Knowledge of trade practices and geometry.
Ability to weld using various methods and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, know procedures sequence.
Ability to read and understand complex specifications and understand relationship of components.
Knowledge and use of various materials with applicable math.
Design and fabricate intricate and irregular dies, jigs and fixtures as necessary.

Direct supervision of team.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
Five + years of experience with industrial and commercial applications.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Fork Lift license may be required.

Ability to operate the following equipment: Hydraulic press brake, hydraulic shear, Vulcan plasma cutting table, Pittsburg machine, TDC machine, Roller machine (three types), Hand break, Bead roller machine, Bead forming machine, Stomp shear, Magna bend, Pin spot machine, Drill press, Band saw, Plasma torch, Track torch, Mig and Tig Welders, Overhead Crane, and Forklift.
