This position is accountable for the performance and continuous improvement of the Novo Nordisk account. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring site processes are properly implemented, measuring and reporting on site performance using various CI processes, working with senior management in ensuring safety compliance, meeting financial objectives and developing personnel strategies. In conjunction with the VP General Manager this position will help develop and execute strategic direction and be accountable for implementation. This position is considered an advanced management position.
Business and Operations. The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring alignment with client overall objectives and performance measurements. Manage the Account Safety Program, driving a safety first culture. Develop key client relationships. Identifies, prioritizes and resolves site obstacles through Six Sigma processes (i.e. DMAIC) or other CI processes Facilitate Basic Documentation (scope, PM, equip lists, etc.) Implement and Sustain Best Practices across account Monitor and Report out on Reliability (Quality, Standards, etc.) Account Project Tracking and Standardization Continuous Improvement (Plans & Actions) Responsible for establishing goals and performance criteria and measurement processes to proactively manage the business. Assist Account Team with Management of training matrix to insure all employees have obtained required training. Provides regular performance feedback Solicits and applies customer feedback (internal and external) Fosters quality focus in others; Improves processes, products and services Continually works to improve supervisory skills |
Scope Decisions. Identify best practices and KPIs that will be used to manage and evaluate performance. Vendor Management (Implementation, ID, etc.) Oversee and manage all changes to the contract equipment list or specifications through the Change Order Process. |
Account Review Meetings. Our site team will regularly meet with clients to discuss performance results, operations reviews, work management process reviews, benchmarking reviews, etc.; monthly and quarterly meetings will be used to evaluate performance results and address issues and overall business objectives. Attends required customer and Viox meetings including regular staff meetings and steering team meetings. Coordinate consistent service delivery Help set the strategic direction and implementation of business initiatives. Help in establishing goals and performance criteria and measurement processes to proactively manage the business. Strategic planning and management of current and future client contracts including assessing alternatives and understanding future customer requirements to ensure adequate future growth and development in assigned area. Ensuring effective customer satisfaction, service and relations by implementing processes and technology to deliver quality products and services Responsible for driving continuous improvement and innovation throughout account(s). |
Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) | Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent from an accredited college or equivalent combination of education and experience |
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) | 7 to 10 years related experience and/or training at a senior level in an organization managing multiple facility operations. |
Licenses/Certifications | Prefer experience with Six Sigma, Green or Black Belt Certification. BOMA or IFMA certification is a plus |
Language Skills | Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public |
Technical Qualifications & Skills | Experience with operations and maintenance for Industrial Manufacturing Space is preferred. Industry designation preferred. Must have multi-site/account experience, ability to identify best practices within industry and a proven ability to apply across multi-site/account scope. Facility Management, IFM experience preferred. |
