The Project Manager oversees project work from pricing to closeout. The Project Manager plans, directs, and coordinates activities of assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Oversight of construction activities, scheduling, budget management, and communication with project stakeholders is required daily or as necessary per client request.
This position requires the project manager to work up to 5 days a week and/or less as required/requested by the client at the client location:

| Performs project budgeting and cost control. Establishes project budget from estimate, performs job cost review, updates budgets monthly, and provides updates to Client Management daily or as often as requested. Support project billings. |
Prepares and manages project schedules to meet or exceed goals of the customer. |
Performs subcontractor and supplier management. Prepares subcontracts and purchase orders and manages the change order process per company and project procedures. |
Plan and lead project meetings within company guidelines for format and content (Pre-Constructs, Progress Meetings, Close-out Meetings). Document meetings with minutes within five days of meeting. Establishes and maintains organized project files. Documents all material conversations in writing. |
Perform project document control by managing Requests for Information (RFI’s). Ensure all effected parties receive clarifications in a timely manner and post clarifications to contract documents. |
Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) | Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred, or demonstrated equivalent work experience. |
Business Experience (prior years’ work/related experience) | Previous experience managing construction projects in occupied or exterior spaces required. |
Licenses/Certifications | Valid US driver’s license. OSHA 10 and/or 30 hour card, BOMA, IFMA, LEED Certifications a plus. |
Language Skills | Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction specifications, drawings, and local code requirements. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public |
Technical Qualifications & Skills | Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and e-mail communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. |
Project Manager must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must be able to clearly communicate with field personnel, field supervision, subcontractors, customers, and upper management. |
Must be proficient at completing estimates, RFPs, schedules, and company required reports. |
Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications. |
Must be able to manage multiple projects at the same time. |
Must have experience managing multiple subcontractors concurrently. |
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The work environment is an office/manufacturing setting as well as the ability to travel to project sites

Compensation Range: $50 to 60/HR
