Job Summary

As a Field Service Operations Manager, you will lead and optimize field service operations across the Western New York (WNY) region, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient HVAC, plumbing, and environmental services. In this role, you will guide and develop a team of field supervisors and service coordinators, drive operational performance and revenue growth, and maintain full P&L accountability for the region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across Plumbing, HVAC, and Environmental Service operations, ensuring alignment and accountability.
• Oversee contract execution, scheduling, and service delivery to meet client commitments and quality standards.
• Own regional P&L, managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while driving revenue growth.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve escalations to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Coach and develop team members while fostering a high-performing, safety-first culture.
• Optimize operations through process improvements, resource management, and adherence to industry standards.
• Ensure continuous improvement by tracking performance metrics and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven leadership experience in the mechanical service industry, with full P&L responsibility for operations exceeding $5M in annual revenue.
• Demonstrated experience managing HVAC, plumbing, or facilities service teams preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general business systems.
• Strong ability to develop and deliver accurate quotes for HVAC repairs and replacements.
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Effective collaborator with strong conflict resolution skills, fostering a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Geographic Disclosure

Compensation Range:   $85,000-$100,000

Other Compensation:   Bonus eligible
