Assistant Project Manager

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible in assisting in pre-plan and managing construction projects utilizing company resources.

• Reporting to a Project Manager
• Maintain up-to-date change order, subcontractor, RFI, and contingency logs
• Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and project proposals
• Work with Labor Superintendent to ensure labor plan is being carried out
• Communicate with purchasing and subcontractors to secure schedule and scope
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment
• Satisfy customers’ needs to develop repeat business
• Other duties as assigned

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years’ electrical field experience preferred
• Knowledge in reading plans and specifications for purpose of ordering material and estimating of change orders
• Ability to order, track and expedite for timely delivery of MEP and specialty items required for the project
• Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
