As an Associate Project Manager, you will play a hands-on role in bringing projects to life, gaining exposure to both field and office operations. In this fast-paced role, you’ll take ownership of key project activities - from coordinating material procurement and tracking quantities to reviewing submittals, RFIs, and supporting critical project communications.
• Support project managers in planning and allocating resources effectively to meet project objectives.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive budgets and monitoring financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Aid in monitoring project timelines and milestones, identifying and addressing potential risks and delays.
• Maintain clear and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Collaborate with project team members to deliver high-quality mechanical solutions.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all project stages.
• Coordinate project schedules, subcontracts, and labor to maximize project success.
• Review project invoice amounts with clients to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain a daily log of project activities and correspondence to track progress and facilitate communication.
• 0–5 years of experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Associate’s degree (AAS) in a construction-related field preferred.
• Proficiency with computer-based project management and related systems.
• Ability to safely navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and stairs to review work in progress.
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, reaching, climbing, and crawling.
• Work is performed in both office and active construction environments.
• Construction environments may be non-climate-controlled, physically challenging, dirty, and potentially hazardous, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols.
