Garage Coordinator

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Garage Coordinator to oversee all aspects of the parts ordering and inventory as well as oversight of repair and maintenance of Company equipment and vehicles. The Garage Coordinator must be able to diagnose, correct issues, and effectively manage the parts inventory and maintenance of vehicles, trailers and equipment and the employees involved in those workflows.   

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist in prioritizing the flow of the garage schedule.
• Diagnose issues with various types of equipment and vehicles.
• Make proper repairs to equipment and vehicles as needed: Replacing spindles, replacing batteries (80-100lbs), replacing electric motors (35-65lbs), diagnosing electrical problems, rebuilding control boxes, making hydraulic hoses, pulling and replacing tires (10-100+lbs) – bar available for heavier tires, pulling deck extensions – 2 man, pulling hydraulic cylinders (10-100lbs), wiring.
• Completion of daily yard inspections.
• Receive/check in parts.
• Seasonal snow removal.
• Housekeeping duties.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years’ experience servicing forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment/vehicles is required.
• 5+ years’ experience working with hydraulics and/or electrical circuitry is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean-driving record required.
• Ability to use a tape measure is required.
