This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8am -4pm

• Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.
• Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, and working standard computations.
• Perform tasks that support the electrical infrastructure distribution system.
• Install raceways and associated wires.
• Provide technical support to engineering staff.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Replace/repair outdated electrical devices.
• Perform electrical portion of build outs.
• Perform other maintenance tasks and assist all trades as directed by his Supervisor and Lead.
• Must hold at least a Journeymen Electrical license.
• Six (6) or more years of experience in maintenance and repairs on Commercial-Industrial building equipment to include but not limited to: Generators, Transformers, Switchboards, Controllers, Circuit breakers, Motors, Heating units, Conduit systems and Electrical Distribution System, Lutron lighting systems.
• Demonstrate the ability to read and understand Blueprints, schematics and specifications.
• Be able to demonstrate basic knowledge of Building Facility and Structural Systems.
• Must have or be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
