EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Lead Analyst for a bid proposal for a large healthcare government healthcare facilities at Fort Bragg NC. The Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Lead Analyst – Hospital Infrastructure is a senior technical leader responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing predictive and reliability based maintenance strategies for critical healthcare facility assets. This role ensures high reliability, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted operation of hospital infrastructure systems that support patient care and life safety.
The Lead Analyst serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for predictive maintenance (PdM) technologies, data interpretation, and reliability methodologies, supporting risk based decision making for critical assets across the hospital campus.

Reliability & PdM Program Leadership
• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of RCM and PdM based maintenance strategies for hospital infrastructure systems.
• Apply reliability engineering principles, asset criticality rankings, and failure mode analysis to reduce unplanned downtime and risk.
• Serve as the technical authority for PdM technologies and reliability data interpretation.
• Develop risk based recommendations that prioritize patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
Predictive Maintenance & Condition Monitoring
• Lead and perform advanced PdM analysis using applicable technologies, including but not limited to vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, oil analysis, or motor diagnostics.
• Interpret, trend, and validate data to identify degradation, failure modes, and remaining useful life (RUL) of assets.
• Provide actionable maintenance recommendations to facilities leadership, planners, and technicians.
• Establish alarm limits, routes, procedures, and acceptance criteria aligned with hospital risk tolerance.
Hospital Infrastructure Systems Focus
• Support reliability and PdM analysis of critical hospital systems including:
o HVAC and environmental control systems for patient care areas
o Electrical distribution and essential electrical systems (EPSS)
o Medical gas and vacuum systems
o Chilled water, steam, and boiler systems
o Life safety and fire protection systems
o Critical utilities supporting ORs, ICUs, data centers, and imaging
• Assess system vulnerabilities and single points of failure impacting patient care.
RCM Analysis & Continuous Improvement
• Lead or support RCM studies, FMEA/FMECA, and root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.
• Identify systemic issues and recommend corrective actions, design changes, or maintenance strategy updates.
• Collaborate with engineering and capital planning teams on asset lifecycle and replacement strategies.
• Support defect elimination initiatives and precision maintenance practices.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure reliability activities align with Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, and Environment of Care (EC) requirements.
• Provide technical documentation, reports, and data to support regulatory surveys and audits.
• Maintain accurate asset histories, condition reports, and recommendations within the CMMS.
• Support development of maintenance standards, procedures, and best practices for healthcare facilities.
Leadership, Mentoring & Collaboration
• Act as a technical mentor to reliability analysts, technicians, and facilities staff.
• Provide training and guidance on PdM technologies, data interpretation, and reliability methods.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, facilities leadership, OEMs, and vendors.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to non technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of hands on Predictive Maintenance (PdM) experience in critical facilities, industrial, or healthcare environments.
• ASNT Level III certification in a primary PdM specialty (e.g., Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasound, Oil Analysis).
• ASNT Level II certification in a secondary PdM technology.
• Demonstrated experience applying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles.
• Advanced data analysis, diagnostics, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms, reliability databases, and trending tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and OEM documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Healthcare facilities or hospital infrastructure experience.
• Additional reliability certifications (e.g., CMRP, CRL).
• Experience with NFPA 99, NFPA 110, and healthcare utility systems.
• Experience supporting capital planning and asset renewal strategies.
• Familiarity with ICRA and ILSM requirements in healthcare environments.
