The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing Department across promotional campaigns, company branding, advertising, and internal communications. This position plays a key role in strengthening a cohesive and effective internal and external marketing strategy. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, detail-oriented mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Digital Marketing & Brand Presence

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital advertising campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, social media, and other relevant digital channels.
  • Maintain Google Business profiles for all branch offices, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Support efforts related to brand presence including large platform advertising, fleet customization, and internal and external-facing collateral.
  • Abide by S.A. Comunale and EMCOR brand standards and requirements as they relate to all marketing and communications outputs.
  • Stay up to date on new technologies, best practices, and industry trends to help inform innovative strategies as they relate to market presence and digital performance.

 

Promotional Materials & Collateral

  • Provide support in identification, customization, ordering, receiving, storing, and distribution of promotional items and apparel.
  • Coordinate tracking of requests, packaging, and delivery of promotional materials, apparel, and literature for branch offices, customer-facing team members, and new hires.
  • Assist with the production of artwork, case studies, and sales literature for various marketing and branding efforts.

 

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Support the full lifecycle of marketing events including tradeshows, community and training events, and similar engagements — from initial planning through on-site facilitation and post-event follow-through.
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor relationships, materials, and schedules to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Assist in planning and execution of employee engagement events, ensuring alignment with company culture and brand standards.
  • Demonstrate strong follow-through on all event-related action items, deadlines, and deliverables — taking initiative to identify and resolve gaps before they become issues.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related field is required.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint is required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.) is preferred.
  • Prior experience in event planning and coordination is highly recommended.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are required. This individual will regularly produce polished, professional communications both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required; accuracy is non-negotiable.
  • Strong follow-through and initiative are essential — this role requires someone who identifies what needs to be done and takes ownership without being asked.
  • Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task environment are required.
  • A motivated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees and management at all levels.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to company values.
  • Compliance with all operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs is required.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task environment is required. A motivated self-starter will do well in this position.
