The Commercial Maintenance Technician (CMT) performs preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations. This role delivers high-quality service while maintaining strong, face-to-face relationships with customers and third-party providers.
This position is based in Addison, with required onsite support at the Roscoe location once per week, or as needed. Additional covAmyerage at the Tinley Park location may be required. A company-provided vehicle will be utilized for travel between all assigned locations.
· Perform corrective repairs on building systems and equipment · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance · Conduct routine facility inspections, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions · Maintain and repair building components including lighting, fixtures, doors, ceilings, and flooring · Respond promptly to service requests and work orders, ensuring timely resolution · Build and maintain positive, face-to-face relationships with customers and third-party service providers to ensure high service satisfaction · Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services · Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work

· Performs preventative maintenance tasking as assigned

· Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities. · Maintain, organize, and control inventory supplies tools and equipment. · Clean and organize shop area. Maintain inventory of spare parts and material · Maintain tools and equipment for maintenance work.

· Perform event setups, reconfigurations, and breakdowns as needed |
· Maintain the company-provided vehicle in a clean, safe, and operational condition |
Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) | GED or HS Equivalent |
Business Experience (prior years work/related experience) | Four (4) or more years related experience and training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses/Certifications | Valid Driver License

Language Skills | Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of organization.
