Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Must be able to Inspect materials, truck, transfer, and store all materials to be shipped and/or received.

Should also be capable of utilizing daily log books and have experience with computers and operational systems.

Must interact with customers, exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to resolve issues and conflicts.

Position also requires the use of Power Truck equipment.  Must also be able to (or trained to) safely change and store propane tanks.

Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.  (There is one item which weighs up to 72 lbs.)

Ability to use / learn SAP functions in order to process inbound raw materials for GY Manufacturing.

Must be able to inspect materials, trucks, and transfers, and manage the storage of all materials to be shipped or received.
Should be capable of using daily log books and have experience with computers and operational systems.
Must interact effectively with customers, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve issues and conflicts.
Requires operation of power truck equipment and the ability to safely change and store propane tanks (training can be provided).
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. repetitively; one item may weigh up to 72 lbs.

Education
High school diploma.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, including safety policies and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group settings.

Technical Qualifications & Skills

• Must be able to operate a computer and be familiar with business systems, including MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• SAP – beginner level.
