Job Summary

The Buyer/ Scheduler performs sourcing activities as required to develop and maintain an effective supplier base needed to service work orders for Maintenance Supervisor and the Site Manager. Develop resources on an ongoing basis as needed to identify potential qualified service providers for all request classes (service categories) required to support the for-Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager with purchasing, receiving, organization, and execution if all facility maintenance related activities to ensure that the client's needs are met or exceeded. This person is expected to support the team to delivery preventative, corrective, and general maintenance work at the Molson Coors Brewery in Golden, Colorado.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follows and promotes all safety procedures, compliance, training, and protocols.
  • Supports and drives the company values, policies, procedures, vision and goals.
  • New vendor set up and on-boarding processing and support.
  • Manage contracts, provide reporting and support the initiatives of the team.
  • Assist in strategic activities including supplier analysis projects including supplier leveraging opportunities, supplier competitive analysis and supplier performance analysis, supplier utilization, supplier management activities.
  • Work with the team to develop a network of preferred service providers.
  • Participate in sourcing activities when required to ensure deadlines and goals are achieved for the Client.
  • Communicate with and interview potential suppliers to determine their interest and ability to meet the required supplier qualifications.
  • Administrator supplier agreements to potential suppliers who have communicated an interest in doing business.
  • Work with Operations personnel and suppliers as necessary to facilitate the completion of work order requirements in a timely and quality-oriented manner.
  • Requisitions and Purchase Orders – creates, processes, follow up, addresses issues.
  • Purchasing and billing assistance – ordering, receiving, processing, billing, P-card processing.
  • Weekly preliminary billing spreadsheet development and support.
  • Generate reports for CMMS, financials, purchasing, and others as requested.
  • Flexible and willingness in duties, work locations, conditions, hours, and assignments.
  • Ensure all paperwork, reports, and documents are completed on time, accurately, and properly.
  • Willingly performs all other duties, assignments, and actions necessary or as requested.

Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or higher is preferred, H.S. diploma required (Work experience may be substituted for education)
  • 3+ years in Maintenance Coordinator work required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Facilities Maintenance work preferred.
  • Previous experience with project management, time management, scope, budgets, and clients
  • Excellent computer skills are required. Experienced with CMMS and excel spreadsheets required
  • Able and willing to multi-task and handle an ever-changing world
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • The physical demands of performing this job include: the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  The associate frequently is required to climb or balance.  The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Will be required to use ladders, boom lifts, scissor lifts, fork trucks and other equipment to accomplish the job.
