Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Purchasing Administrator. In this position you will be responsible for expediting, invoice reconciliation and other miscellaneous purchasing tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the VP of Purchasing and Purchasing Manager daily with Purchasing responsibilities, to include but not limited to the following: 
  • Process Trade Power each morning for the Data Entry Team 
  • Reconcile invoices daily. 
  • Process shop drawings when needed. 
  • Process O&M’s when needed. 
  • Prepare accurate and complete purchase orders
  • Responsible for expediting and making sure the materials are delivered in the specified amount
  • Receive packing slips
  • Ensure and promote compliance to company and procurement policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ minimum experience in an office setting
  • Previous Purchasing experience is a plus
  • Must have proven multi-task skills in prior position
  • Candidate must be accurate; attention to detail and excellent organizational skills a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Organized and a self-starteR
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
