Job Title: IT Co-Op (End User Support)

Classification: Non-Exempt / Temporary

Manager: IT Manager

Job duration: January – June 2026

 

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused college co-op student to join our IT Help Desk team as an IT Co-Op. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.
  • Log and track support requests using the company’s ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to IT Manager for support as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up workstations and accounts.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
  • Support IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Other duties likely be assigned

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common business applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Apple iOS mobile devices
  • Ability to learn and troubleshoot SaaS applications
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Prior help desk or technical support experience is a plus but not required.
