EMCOR Government Services, Inc. (EGS) is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Project Manager (PM) in Arlington, VA to lead and manage a complex facilities contract supporting an important and long-term client, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
The scope includes two unique and high-visibility sites, one in Arlington, VA and the other in Washington, D.C.
*There is a free shuttle running between the two locations every hour and it is approximately a 15-minute trip one-way.
The PM will have complete authority and responsibility to act on behalf of EGS in every detail during the term of the contract. The PM leads a team of dedicated and talented professionals in delivering complete facilities maintenance services to include preventive and unscheduled maintenance, repair of equipment and systems, landscaping, and associated services.
The PM’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, client engagement, employee relations and workplace culture, financial planning and analysis, quality control, safety and health, operations and maintenance.
The PM best suited to lead this important account will possess a “One Team” leadership mindset, be proactive with a focus on continuous improvement, teamwork, employee development, use of technology, industry best practices, and a high level of commitment to excellence and customer comfort and workplace experience.

1. Professional designations such as Real Property Administrator or Facilities Management Administrator from the Building Owners and Managers Institute; or
2. Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management; or
3. Certified Facilities Manager from the International Facility Management Association; or
4. College associate’s degree in building management, real property management, real estate management, or other degree in office building management or operations; or any four-year college degree.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
