We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Foreman to support our project teams and ensure exceptional results in the field. The ideal candidate is an experienced Journeyman Electrician with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 
  • Plan and oversee construction activities, including sequencing, manpower allocation, material needs, equipment usage, and scheduling
  • Lead, train, and mentor field personnel; oversee day‑to‑day operations through assigned Foremen
  • Partner with the Project Manager to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and milestone dates
  • Communicate site issues, conflicts, progress updates, and quality concerns with the Project Manager and client representatives
  • Resolve field construction challenges and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and inspections
  • Enforce and monitor safety program compliance; ensure weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks are completed
  • Assist with incident and accident investigations alongside the Safety Department
  • Understand subcontractor scopes and ensure schedules and quality expectations are met
  • Support the Project Manager in subcontractor coordination, quality control, and dispute resolution
  • Review and support negotiations related to change orders and claims
  • Provide input on cost and schedule forecasting
  • Participate in project close‑out and ensure punch lists are completed promptly
  • Mentor Project Associates assigned to the project

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years' experience on construction projects in a Healthcare Foreman or Healthcare General Foreman role (or higher) position
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups
  • Good organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making ability
  • Basic computer skills preferred 
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
