EMCOR Government Services has an oppportunity for a an IDIQ Manager in Alexandria , VA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage turn-key projects, to include estimating, proposal submittal, pre-work hazard analysis and impact to building/occupants, award notice/processing, submittal/mobilization coordination-review, oversight/QC of work, accountability/interview for Davis Bacon payroll, punch-list/close-out management to include cost updates, and networking with clients to generate ideas for future work.
  • Reports to Corporate Manager and coordinates with individual site supervisors to provide best in class reimbursable project support and backfill to IDIQ Managers and site Managers as needed.
  • Provide accounting of project support and forecasting of project workload. Work with site support staff for purchase order, subcontract agreement support, project progress, project close-out documents / release of claims, and invoice requests. During project planning ensure material, subcontractor, and internal EMCOR labor is tracked and accounted-for and coded properly.     
  • Coordinate with EMCOR’s Special Business Operations (Mobile Services) and operational sites to leverage EMCOR assets on reimbursement work. Work at multiple sites in the DMV and coordination with multiple Project Managers will provide direct access to a full-service engineering team capable of performing virtually any type of project that may be requested by our clients. Coordinate with EGS Supply Chain Management, as necessary for approved subcontractor lists and material bidding. Coordinate with EMCOR Project Manager’s to identify new work and solicit the reimbursable work with clients with a goal of processing $5million worth of projects annually.
  • Processes and submits deliverables as necessary as defined per contract and task order to include T&M logs and Davis Bacon certified payroll.   Maintains corporate procedures and update EMCOR’s sharepoint site for IDIQ Center of Excellence.

Qualifications

  • Required 5 years of project management with at least 3 years of estimating experience in facilities.
  • Experience with government facilities is preferred.
  • Experience with estimating software to include Critical Path, Microsoft Project, and/or RS Means is preferred.
