The Technician will report daily to the EMCOR site supervisor and support the site supervisor to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. The primary responsibilities of this position are to be responsible for the general facility maintenance needs at the facility and performing general maintenance of equipment as required. Knowledge of and capable of performing carpentry/repairs and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess a professional appearance, excellent customer service and communication skills.

Repairs of Walls, Floors, Doors, and any painting and touch up work for beautification of facility |
Repair and unclog Toilets, Urinals, replace and maintain Valve Assemblies and repair/maintain Sensors for Automatic Flush Kits, as well as all other plumbing related to the Facility. Responsible for maintenance and repair of air handling equipment at this facility such as vent fans and circulation fans. |
Maintain a strict PM schedule. Maintain gates & fences, change filters, docks and overhead doors, check & maintain eyewash stations & showers, exterior and interior building inspections, parking lot & landscape inspections |
Performs a wide variety of corrective maintenance work requests. |
Assist other skilled employees to perform projects as requested. |
Education (HS Diploma, Under/Graduate Degree, etc.) | HS Diploma |
Business Experience (prior years' work/related experience) | 3 – 5 years of experience related facility maintenance. |
Licenses/Certifications | Valid US driver’s license Pass background & drug screening |
Language Skills | Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of an organization. |
Technical Qualifications & Skills | Ability to perform various general type maintenance tasks. Ability to use a smart device such as a phone and iPad. Ability to draft routine reports, timesheets, and correspondence utilizing basic computer skills and ability to communicate via email and internet use. |

The ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and the ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required. Can regularly kneel repetitively during shift. Can move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis. Can work and maneuver on a variety of terrains. Can interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. May be required to work in confined, restricted, and hot areas. We are also responsible for snow removal and there are times in the Winter season when most of the day is spent outdoors in cold/snow conditions. Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
