Gowan/Garrett, Inc. is seeking a Site Safety Representative responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites. This position ensures compliance with company safety policies and General Contractor requirements, conducts safety training, and monitors daily site activities for safety infractions.

While some administrative duties may be performed in an office setting, including sitting and working at a computer, the position primarily involves on-site presence. The position may also require lifting and carrying safety equipment, documents, or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
The work environment characteristics described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Site Safety Representative primarily works on active construction sites, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, loud noise, dust, and other typical construction-related hazards. While some administrative tasks may be completed in an office or jobsite trailer during standard business hours, the role is fast-paced, field-focused, and requires adaptability to changing site conditions and schedules. Occasional travel between job sites may be necessary.
