Job Summary


Senior Project Recruiter



We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Recruiter to lead high-volume recruiting for mission-critical data center projects. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for large-scale construction projects and a strong understanding of the electrical trade, preferably within IBEW or other union environments.



This role will partner closely with Group Presidents, VP’s and Directors to forecast needs, source talent, and ensure workforce demands are met for data center builds across the region.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:



  • Partner with project teams to understand upcoming electrical labor needs (Project Management, Estimators, Schedulers, Field Leadership, etc.) for data center and other commercial service and construction projects.

  • Proactively source, screen, and pipeline qualified electrical candidates using various methods (job boards, referrals, unions, databases, and field networking).

  • Conduct initial screenings and evaluations, specific to high-voltage, low-voltage, and mission-critical systems.

  • Coordinate interviews and hiring processes in partnership with management.

  • Maintain compliance with all union agreements and local hiring requirements.

  • Manage vendor relationship processes, ensuring clear communication and compliance.

  • Provide weekly updates to project leadership and management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the ATS





Qualifications


Experience: 


 


Required:



  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 1–2 years focused on skilled trades, electrical, or project management roles.

  • Familiarity with data center projects, large commercial/industrial construction, or mission-critical environments is strongly preferred.

  • Strong sourcing, screening, and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to engage both candidates and management.

  • High level of organization and ability to manage multiple open requisitions with tight deadlines.

  • Proficient with ATS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and online sourcing tools (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).

  • Light travel as needed

Preferred:



  • Familiarity with data center projects, large commercial/industrial construction, or mission-critical environments is strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with or recruiting through unionized labor (IBEW preferred).

  • Understanding of electrical terminology, certifications (OSHA, NFPA 70E, etc.), and project safety standards.

  • Familiarity with Paycor or iCIMS
