EMCOR Government Services is seeking a talented Service Order Manager for a bid proposal supporting medical treatment facilities for Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
The Service Order Manager shall have overall responsibility for developing and executing repair and capital improvement projects. This successful candidate will also serve as the Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) in the absence of the CMM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the Service Order program
- Assist in the development of scopes of work (SOW's)
- Assess engineering/technical requirements
- Develop cost proposals and solicit proposals from subcontractors.
- Initiate project work, inspect work, ensuring work is completed in accordance with the SOW and that all work is completed with quality and in a workmanlike manner.
- Serve in the role in the Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM) in the absence of the CMM
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be technically qualified in the field of Facilities Management and Construction.
- Must have experience in medical or laboratory construction, renovation and maintenance and repair project management
- Must possess advance knowledge and understanding of all aspects of facility repair, construction and facilities management to include the following disciplines: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications, and security systems
- Must have experience with DoD NFG design standard, bid preparation, bid solicitation, bid evaluation and selection, award inspection, acceptance and project close- out.
- Must be technically qualified in the field of administrative, laboratory, and lab support Facilities Management
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a laboratory or industrial facility operations and maintenance and minimum five (5) years’ experience servicing and/or renovating commercial buildings, including supervision of a diversified work force responsible for operations, maintenance and repair of
commercial building infrastructure systems. - Must be familiar with the various codes and standards applicable to the O&M tasks covered by the PWS, ISO 9000 and other Laboratory standards accreditation, NFPA, NEC, EPA, references in paragraph 1.0, and OSHA codes and standards.
Compensation Range: $72,000 - $102,000
