Job Title:  Master Electrician (DOE-F)

Job Summary:   EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Master Electrician for the DOE facility  in Washington, D.C. The Master Electrician mush have or be able to obtain a L level Clearance for this role. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

The work schedule is: 

Schedule:    Wednesday – Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm  and     Saturday – Sunday 11:00pm – 7:00am

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain


• Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.


• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls


• Perform inspections


• Supervise subcontractors.


• Troubleshoot

Qualifications:  

• Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD)


• Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance


• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician


• Must have a general knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.


• Must be able to read and understand blueprints,


• Must have Troubleshooting skills


• Must be able to work the following schedule:
  

  Wednesday – Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm  and     Saturday – Sunday 11:00pm – 7:00am
