Electrical Estimator

We are a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP); building automation; and industrial piping contractor. Our team offers a variety of MEP and process piping services, including design-build engineering for new construction and renovation, installation and specialty construction, maintenance, and air balancing, start-up, and energy efficiency services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing electric take-offs and bid packages.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings.
• Utilize our estimating software Accubid and Change Order.
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
• Participate in training sessions and continued education.
• Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude in a team environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Extensive experience in electric construction estimating may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
• Prior experience with Accubid and/or Change Order, preferred.
• Ability to analyze bid documents and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from senior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and build lasting client relationships.

TRAVEL

This position may require local travel to meet customers, attend meetings, entertain, etc.
